Animal Cell |
Plant Cell |
Shown above is an image of a plant and animal cell. There are many differences between the two. For example, a plant cell has a cell wall, a larger vacuole, and chloroplasts to be able to carry out photosynthesis.
Eukaryotic CellEukaryotic cells have a nucleus and membrane-bound organelles, such as the Mitochondria and Golgi body. In eukaryotic cells, Chromosomes (Genetic Material) are found in the nucleus.
|
Prokaryotic CellProkaryotic cells do not have a nucleus or membrane-bound organelles. Instead of having a nucleus with genetic material stored inside, the DNA is free-floating.

Enzymes speed up the chemical reaction when the reactants merge with the active site.
Cell Motility
The Flagellum and Cilia provide the cell with motility.
AbstinenceAlthough condoms and birth control can be used while being sexually active, there is not a guarantee that they will be efficient. The only way to be 100% sure that an unwanted pregnancy will not occur is by not having sex (Abstinence).
